About The Material Works
The Material Works (TMW) is a privately held flat-rolled metals toll processor in Red Bud, Illinois, founded in 1992. Its two plants perform precision slitting, cut-to-length and multi-blanking, stretcher leveling and acid-free EPS (Eco Pickled Surface) descaling of hot-rolled coil, with climate-controlled storage and road, rail and barge access, for service centers, OEM manufacturers and mills in the central and southern U.S.
