About Ferrous 85
Ferrous 85 (Ferrous 85" Co.) is a hot-rolled steel toll processor on the Steel Dynamics campus in Sinton, Texas, and part of Bull Moose Tube since 2025. It runs a heavy-gauge slitting line that takes master coils up to 87" wide, 0.750" thick and 105,000 lb, producing mults from 7" to 85" in hot-rolled and pickled and oiled steel for edge- and width-sensitive uses such as ERW pipe and metal building products.
